Cultivating Tomorrow's Global Leaders through excellence, discipline, and Christian values since our founding.
Wonder Heights International School is built on Christian ideals — responsibility, discipline, excellence, ethical behaviour, leadership, and service beyond self.
To educate and empower each child to thrive through a harmonised British and GES curriculum, fostering academic excellence and character development.
To be the leading institution in Greater Accra that produces globally competitive, morally grounded, and community-conscious leaders for the 21st century and beyond.
Discipline · Excellence · Integrity · Ethical Behaviour · Leadership · Service Beyond Self. These are not just words — they are the foundation of every decision we make.
"We believe every child carries within them an extraordinary potential waiting to be unlocked. At Wonder Heights, we don't just teach — we inspire, nurture, and equip."
Welcome to Wonder Heights International School. We are a community dedicated to the holistic development of every child in our care. Our approach combines rigorous academic training with strong character formation, ensuring that each graduate is equipped not only with knowledge but with the values and skills to lead with integrity.
We urge you to visit our school and nursery... to explain our well-placed educational philosophy which gives our students the finest possible start".
Founded on 3 September 2024, WHITS is the realisation of a long-held dream to transform the educational landscape in Ghana. Established with the goal of raising a new generation of global leaders, our school was born out of a desire to introduce innovative teaching methods that challenge traditional perceptions of learning.
A Vision for Modernity:
Located in the peri-urban community of Afienya, WHITS serves as a beacon of modern education. We provide high-quality schooling for local families and middle-income earners relocating from the city, ensuring that world-class facilities and standards are accessible outside of major urban centres.
The "Head, Heart, and Hands" Philosophy
Our holistic approach to development focuses on three core pillars:
Head: Intellectual excellence and academic rigour.
Heart: Cultivating passion, compassion, and the discovery of God-given talents.
Hands: Practical application of knowledge, ensuring students can turn what they learn into tangible skills and trades.
Our Curriculum and Facilities
We offer a unique hybrid curriculum that blends the Cambridge and Ghana Education Service (GES) frameworks, enriched with Montessori principles. Our learners benefit from a well-rounded experience including:
A fully equipped ICT Lab and Library.
Music lessons and dedicated Reading Clubs.
A growing range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Looking Ahead
WHITS is on a journey to becoming a "one-stop den of knowledge." Our medium-term expansion includes the development of a Secondary School and College, boarding facilities, and a comprehensive sports complex featuring a swimming pool and multi-purpose courts.
Ultimately, WHITS stands as a complex of educational excellence—a place where quality education acts as a great equaliser, bringing together diverse families under one roof to build a vibrant, hopeful future.
Our educators are dedicated professionals who are passionate about nurturing the next generation of global leaders.
